Will Power Breaks Winless Streak

When you are a 2-time IndyCar Champion, an Indy 500 winner, and an all time leading pole sitter, you'd think they'd get used to winning, right? Well Will Power has gone a full 2 years without winning. His last win was on the old Belle Isle Circuit in 2022.

When Will Power stayed out 2 laps longer than his teammates, I heavily questioned that strategy. But once again, I was proved why I'm just the photographer and those guys make the big bucks. Will performed the overcut on his teammates and he took the win.

This is Will's first win in over 2 years and was overjoyed in victory lane when he pulled in. It was a great day for his Penske Teammates as well. Josef Newgarden pulled in P2 and McLaughlin was P3. The first 1-2-3 for Penske since Sonoma in 2017.

Hopefully, this is a fire that Will Power has been looking to lit and he will win more races this season and ultimately take the fight for the season title...it's NOT too late.
